Our Story
Back in 2005 when Celine Young and her Aunt Maria founded Celine's Kitchen, they were doing something they both loved - baking incredible treats that couldn't be found anywhere else. What made their treats unique?
Actually, it was a rather odd pairing of baking experiences. Celine drew from a rich collection of traditional family recipes (her great grandmother had studied at the Cordon Bleu in Paris). Both she & Maria grew up in Southeast Asia, influenced by the exotic flavors of the islands. Celine & Maria loved combining the homestyle goodness of traditional, made-from-scratch cookies, bars & loaves with tropical fruits and nuts.
People noticed. In a world where mainstream brownies, cookies & donuts are available on practically every street corner, here is something different. Here is a handmade blending of the old fashioned with the exotic. A marriage of wholesome goodness with bold tropical flavors.
